Sally Haze breathes life into the day with their new track “Waiting,” an indie-rock tune that feels anthemic. Featuring submerged yet ethereal vocals and an upbeat rhythm section, “Waiting” is the spring/summer track that we didn’t know we needed. Yes, we know it’s winter, no we aren’t taking shit from this season anymore.
The Chicago-based band released their first single in 2019 and was quickly signed to Maximum Pelt Records. Within last year, they were named Chicago Artist of the Month by the Deli and the debut EP Dining Room was named a Best of Bandcamp November 2019 by Uproxx. It’s not hard to see why: Sally Haze comes forward with infectious tunes that command our attention. And, let’s be honest, they are just getting started.
